Education:
Pretend/Role play: Children learn by mimicing adults behaviour and role playing scenes found within their environment - shopping for food, preparing food, serving and eating. Always foods, sometimes foods: Discuss with your child which foods are great to eat any time and which foods are for treats or special occasions. Helps to build a healthy eating framework. Create new taste sensations: Encourage children to imagine and create new flavour combinations. What would a bacon and lemon sandwich taste like? A budding chef perhaps? Socialise and interact: All children love to have a tea party and pretending to be the adult serving the drinks and food. Great for encouraging sharing and interaction between children. Basic skills: Ideal for hand-eye coordination and colour recognition. |
